We do the heavy work, quietly

Accelerating port electrification and delivering reliable onshore power solutions at scale.

People behind reliable port electrification

We design, build and operate large-scale shore power installations for cruise ships, ferries, offshore vessels and other maritime operations. Our systems are engineered for demanding port environments where precision, grid integration, safety and long-term reliability are essential. Together with port authorities, vessel operators and energy partners, we take responsibility from feasibility to installation and operation, making shore power a dependable part of critical infrastructure.

Electrification is central to the transition toward a zero-emission society. Through flexible, renewable shore power solutions, we help ports cut emissions while maintaining operational continuity. This commitment to responsible infrastructure, strong partnerships and measurable impact guides every project we deliver.

The sound of a sustainable port is silence

Plug emerged from a clear need many major ports around the world requires reliable shore power infrastructure to support vessels transitioning away from diesel. Following the rebranding from Bergen Landstrøm to Plug in 2019, we expanded beyond Bergen, launching new projects in Ålesund, Nordfjordeid and other key locations. Today, our portfolio spans major ports and continues to grow, with both operational facilities and new projects under development.
