About this location
Eidfjord municipality (EM), Energiselskapet Hardanger (EH) and Plug are partnering to develop shore power facilities for the cruise port in Eidfjord.
To support this effort, EM, EH and Plug have established a joint venture named Plug Eidfjord, owned 25 % by EM, 10 % by EH and 65 % by Plug AS.
The upcoming shore power facility in Eidfjord will have a capacity of up to 12 MVA and will be able to supply power to one cruise ship at a time. For any inquiries regarding shore power in Eidfjord, please contact our operations team.
